Pong Kar Chor

Took to painting in the early seventies; had taught in the First Institute of Art and Design and the Department of Fine Arts, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Founder member of the INGROUP. Major exhibitions: 1981, 1983, 1985—Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition, 1988—City Dialogues’ Exhibition of paintings by Pong Kar Chor & Wong Shun Kit at the Arts Centre, 1988-1990—Asian Watercolors Confederation Exhibitions at Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur & Hong Kong, 1996—‘Contemporary Hong Kong Art Exhibitions of the INGROUP’ at the Hong Kong Baptist University, 1997—the First National Grand Exhibition of Painting in Shanghai, 1997 —Reunion and Vision- Contemporary Hong Kong Art, 2002—Exhibition by Pong Kar Chor & Students, 2005—Exhibition of Paintings by Pong Kar Chor, 2006—Exhibition of Paintings of Pong Kar Chor & Students, 1976-2016—the annual exhibitions of the INGROUP.
